Hey, as a faithful reader of Kuku and Charles Christopher, this new beta site looks great. Much more accessible than the last one. Keep it up, you guys are so great!

Looks great, and I dig the mouseovers. One point: the text for Kissing Chaos should, I assume, be “saga” rather “sage” of urban alienation.

  3. MarcoDC7 says:

Yes, I do also enjoy it. It’s much more friendly and clean. I’ve never noticed Aardhen before, and it’s incredible!

  4. MarcoDC7 says:

Oh, and the papercut link is blank, so you know.

  5. Operator X says:

@Naechtweard, thank you and the spelling error is fixed!

@MarcoDC7, aardhen is officially going to be joining tx at summers end, so mum’s the word ;) and as for the papercut banner… mike’s just taking his sweet time!

  6. mart says:

yeah dogg, this new site design is much better than the last one, like it *thumbs up*

Here’s my big feature request — the most recent page update should be visible on the front page for all of the comics. I’m sure there may be some technical reasons that complicate this, but it’d be lovely to scan one page and see who has updated.

Marking them with the normal date pages will come out was great in the beginning, but I don’t think *any* of the comics stick to their schedule anymore. Not a disaster, but it means that the day-of-the-week doesn’t work anymore.

    • Ramón says:

      hey rob,

great suggestions! i would love to have the most recent comic pages visible from the respective txcomics on the front page here, but that is a little beyond my coding abilities. will have to talk to folks that i know and see how possible that is…

as for marking the comics with the dates… it’s something we aspire to and it gives a guideline to readers when the *should* expect new work from the respective creators. it’s something we work hard towards, and without the goal of the day we might falter more… but something definitely to be worked on. we should be meeting the update days we set for ourselves…

Looks great! Only thing I don’t care for is the justified (Bane of all text alignments that are good and smoothly readable!) mouseover text. Why not just align it to the left or right? Even centering the text would look better.

I guess purple is a surprising choice on the Charles Christopher graphic, but my only actual “problem” is the justified text.

Very cool look (Now force someone to update She’s My Kind Of Girl with a new picture)!

  9. Sue says:

I like the new look. Fancy.

  10. shiny!
New site is sweet, but can’t help missing the everyday changing headbanner telling what supposably was updated this day of the week

  11. Sean says:

The new site looks great! I have some titles I need to catch-up on ;)
