TRANSMISSION X (TX) is a collective of professional illustrators and cartoonists who are united by their desire to produce top-flight comics. Recognizing the potential of the internet to be a primary source of art and entertainment, and motivated by their interest in producing exciting, personal work free from commercial and editorial constraint, the artists of TX have all worked to create some of the highest-quality comics yet seen on the web.

Launching in 2007 with original works from Andy Belanger, Cameron Stewart, Scott Hepburn, Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl, TX was immediately met with critical acclaim and named as one of the premiere webcomics portals on the web. The collective soon expanded to include strips by Ramón Pérez, Claudia DáVila, Michael Cho and Brian Maclachlan, and incorporated the informative videoblog TXTV, produced by Brenden Fletcher.

In 2009 TX welcomed its newest members, Eric Vedder and Rob Coughler.   Collectively the TX artists have achieved considerable recognition and popularity, and garnered multiple award nominations for their individual works.

TX is currently split between Toronto and Montréal, but the group retains its commitment to producing entertaining, quality comics which are free for readers to enjoy.
